On the Road Again....
It has now been a week since Jeff left for five weeks of church camps. Wes Butler and him pulled out last Friday with a trailer and a big van loaded down. They drove to Alabama for a camp with Doctor Reid. From there they headed on to Wake Forest and along the way picked up Buck, a friend that Jef has played drums with at camps, and Wes Hill the keyboard player from Florida, and Josh Hicks his friend who normally played bass for him in NC. They have been having a great time driving from city to city. They are currently in Ashville, NC doing a week of Centrifuge camps at Ridgecrest. It has been pretty quiet not having Jeff around, but I am so excited to be going to visit him this week. I leave Thursday for NC and Lee, Lisa and I are going to drive to RIdgecrest to spend a few days with Jeff. He he loving what he is doing, if he could travel all year around, I know that it would be a for sure thing for him. Here are a few pictures of Jeff and Wes heading out.

Weddings....
This past weekend my best friend, and neighbor got married in Dallas. It was an all weekend event. We started out with a Bridal brunch early Friday morning, followed by an afternoon getting manicures and pedicures. That evening we headed to the church for rehearsal and then on to dinner at Abuelo's. Saturday we woke up and started getting ready, I did her hair and another bridesmaid did the rest of the bridal party, we all just hung out at Jenni's house and relaxed till it was time to go to the church. We got to the church, changed and took pictures, and before we knew it, it was time to start. Jenni and I have been friends ever since the day she moved in next door to me, she is so special to me. I knew her husband before she met him, he was on my brothers ball team, and is such a sweet guy. They met in high school and the rest is history. The wedding was a lot of fun, most of the bridal party was the group of guys and girls that we hung out with in high school and a lot of old friends were there... here are a few pictures from throughout the weekend.

...an update!
I apologize for the fact that I have not been blogging. There has been a lot going on and our weekends have been full. We are doing pretty good, staying on the go, but we are looking forward to a few free weekends coming up. Three weeks ago we were able to fly to North Carolina and surprise everyone with a visit, it was so much fun and we got to spend time with our family which we had not seen in a long time. Last weekend Jeff was in Tampa, Florida, and this week he is in Ohio. He has been enjoying the time to travel but is also ready for a calm weekend. I have been getting things ready for my friends wedding, and finishing up on my internship. This will be my last week at the hospital and now it is just applying for jobs. I know that God will provide eventually but Child Life jobs are few right now.... so I am at the gym and applying elsewhere as well. I hope to have more blogs soon and with a little more time on my hands I am sure that I will. We love you and miss you all.....

February Happenings
I am so sorry it has been so long since we blogged last. February went by fast, and March has about come and gone. The past few weekends have been wonderful, Jeff and I both have been off and not had to much going on. I think this might be the most weekends that we have had off together since right after the wedding. We have been catching up on some sleep and hanging out with some friends that we have missed. Here are a pictures of the end of February and the Bassinger family new addition...

My husband... Jeffrey Thomas Capps...
Friday was Jeff's 24th birthday! I thought that for this special day, I would post pictures of Jeff over the years. Jeff is a wonderful guy who is always making people smile. He is always on the go, and always thinking of the next thing that he is going to do. He loves the Apple Store, cool clothes, concerts of any kind, and shoes! His passion is to work in a church or travel leading worship for students, and seeing Christ move in them. He loves to travel, if it was up to him we would rent a bus and be on the road all the time, seeing new places. He loves music, and all that goes along with that, he loves his job and the people that he has been able to meet through the studio. Jeff is a wonderful husband, who is always loving and helps so much when our schedule can be so crazy. He loves his family, friends and random people he meets ( we all know that Jeff is no stranger to anyone) He loves his God, he is passionate for Christ and this is evident in everything that he does. He lives for Him daily and is always striving to be closer to Him. Jeff is one of a kind and I do not know where I would be today without His love! Happy Birthday!
