Our First Married Christmas

Today Jeff and I celebrated our first married Christmas together. We have a crazy schedule so to make sure that we did not overlook our first Christmas we did it a few days early. We had to finish up a few Christmas presents and then we came home and exchanged our gifts, and did our stockings. We had a great night, we went out to dinner, came home and packed for our Christmas break. Tomorrow we will do Christmas with my family and stay that night with them, and Christmas Eve we fly out at 6pm to North Carolina for a week. We are so excited to see family and spend good time with friends. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

FBC Christmas Concert

Jeff played at First Baptist Church Carrolton this past Wednesday, he and his friends played a bunch of Christmas songs and did some of the original songs. They had a great turn out and the boys had a great time playing together. Here are a few pictures... not very good, but you can see a little of what went on.

Bailey Christmas

This past weekend we flew to North Carolina to do the Bailey Christmas. The first weekend in December we always do Christmas with some family that we do not get to see at Christmas time. There were 13 adults with 2 babies in a house of two bathrooms, so you know we have some great stories to share, we had a great time, especially spending some time with the babies for their first Christmas. We had a great time seeing everyone. Here are a few pictures of the family...

Boomer Sooner

This past weekend we were able to get tickets to the OU vs. OSU game. We drove up there early Saturday morning and walked from my brothers house, we shopped and then went on in to the game to get our seats, we were in the student section. It was a lot of fun, and very very cold, it started to snow for a while and only continued to get colder. The Sooners won, and we had a great time, here are a few pictures of our cold weekend.

Locks of Love

For a while now I have been wanting to donate my hair to Locks of Love and I wanted to wait until after the wedding. In the process I talked my brothers girlfriend Lexi into donating hers as well, I knew that if someone else was going to do it, it would be easier for me to do it. We went in to on Wednesday and we both cut about 11 inches off of our hair, it was very scary but we are glad that we did it, and we are both loving the shorter hair and the less maintenance. hello friends and family,
tonight blair and i had a very special night. we had a wonderful meal that she prepared then went out to do some christmas shopping. well during this journey i found myself wondering into the GNC store. Yes many of you are saying that is out of my character...which is true but you dont have to worry because i did not buy anything healthy or that would increase my muscle mass i purchased EAR CANDLES....yes you heard it right i believe i may have entered a realm that i will be visiting much more often...the EAR CANDLE land...blair is so sweet that she even aided me in this process when we got home. i hope you enjoy the photos as much as i enjoyed the experience.

Things here have been good with us, we are both working alot lately and enjoying the days that we have off together which is one day a week. Jeff is absolutely loving his job, which is a huge blessing, he is there as much as possible and has had a lot of great opportunities come from it. We are looking forward to traveling in the next few weeks to see family and have a weekend off.

First Blog

We thought that this would be a good way to keep everyone updated on what is going on in our lives and events that have been going on! God has been doing a lot since the wedding, after a lot of praying and patience Jeff got a job. Jeff is working with Spaceway Studios in Dallas as an assistant to Will Hunt, the producer and engineer of the studio, he is enjoying it so much. I just recently received the opportunity to intern at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth in the Child Life Department, this will start in January and will finish in May, and then I will be able to sit for the certification test. We have been enjoying married life, and getting settled in. Hopefully soon we will post pictures of the apartment and the things that we have been working on.
