Mimi and Pop got me a baby stroller to push around and I love it! I have gotten pretty good at walking this thing all around the house! It will not be long till I will be on my own!

Grayson's mommy was off of work last week so we got to play together during the day! We get to see each other a lot but normally its close to bedtime, but this was a nice change! We loved our time together and had a blast playing!

Happy 8 Months.. a little late

What I am doing at 8 months!

* I am crawling everywhere, and pretty fast.

* I love to stand up and pull up on anything!

* I can walk with a walker and have started to let go of things lately and work on my balance.

* I love people.. especially children who are a little my size.

* I am saying, " baba", "Mama", and "dada" very clearly and have a lot of my own sounds that I love to make.

* I love my daddy and clearly am going to be a daddys girl!

* Maddie and I are becoming better friends these days, mainly because I like to feed her!

* I love all kinds of foods, I have even started to eat bananas, which was the only thing that I did not like a few weeks ago!

* I enjoy being outside and love wagon rides!

* I am still working on cutting my first tooth, but mom thinks that it will be any day now!

Birthdays!

This month we celebrated a lot of birthdays! Mom and dad both turned one years older and we had some great time celebrating with friends and family!

With the weather warming up, we have been enjoying some great days walking around outside and going on walks!

Is it summer yet?

Mom and I were playing dress up yesterday and we decided to try on one of my bathing suits! I loved playing in my room in my suit and can not wait for summer time to go swimming!

Happy 7 Month

Happy 7 Months Emersyn

What I am doing at 7 months!

* Crawling everywhere, and getting in to all sorts of things!

* I sleep from 8pm-8am and am a very active sleeper, I am all over the crib!

* I am eating all kinds of veggies and fruits! I love zucchini, carrots, apples, pears, prunes, green beans, peas, squash... I have tried banana once and wasn't a big fan but other than that I love everything!

* I am still very talkative. I have said "mama", "bye-bye", and just recently "hey"

* I don't have any teeth yet but chew on just about anything I can get my hands on

* I am pulling up on everything and starting to reach for things on table tops

* I am very ticklish and love to laugh and play with mom and dad in the floor

* I love to take walks and be outside!

* I love people and am becoming very social!

* I am a very sweet little girl and mom and dad get so much joy from me!

Is it spring yet??

I am ready to wear some of my brighter colors for spring... I am ready for warm weather!

Snow Snow Snow

We have had quite some eventful weather days in the past few weeks! We have gotten snow and the schools were closed for 4 days in a row! One day we even got 6 inches of snow at our house! Mom and I were stuck in the house for a few days but at least I got some use out of some of my hats!

Mom's friend Kellie came over a few weeks ago to hang out with mom and I! Mom used to work with Kellie and they love to get together every few weeks or so to catch up! Here is our attempt at a good picture, I have just gotten back from the doctor and had a few shots so I was a little out of it!

We got together with some of moms friends and their little boys, its a tradition we have been doing for a few years now!... we missed the ones that could not come but were happy to see everyone!

We celebrated New Years down at Myrtle Beach! It was my first time at the beach, but I have a feeling I will be going a lot more! This is the beach that daddy grew up going to as well!

To My Little One:

Can it really be? 6 months already? I feel like we were just bringing you home from the hospital last week! You are such a blessing to daddy and I, and you bring us so much joy each and every day! You have a smile that can light up a room and brighten anyone’s day! I love to get you out of your crib in the morning and see your sweet smile greeting me. You are becoming quite a good sleeper; you are sleeping from 8-8 and these past few days have been sleeping in till 9 (but I am not going to get used to it!!) You are still not the greatest napper, you enjoy being up during the day and usually take 2-3 short naps, each about an hour to hour ½. I was really trying to get you to sleep longer, but I am not going to stress because you are always a pleasant baby regardless of how long you nap, so I do not mind. We have started to give you solids and you are enjoying all the new foods. You love apples, pears, green peas, sweet potatoes and carrots. I have not given you anything yet that you do not like (I hope this continues...) We have started to use a sippy cup and you love to hold it and chew on it, but still cannot figure out how to drink out of it. You love to stand and have gotten very good at the army crawl. You are pretty fast and if I don’t watch out you will get in to all sorts of things! You are starting to get up on your knees and hands, and I know it will just be a matter of time before you are really crawling, you are already attempting to pull up on things and I am just trying to brace myself for what’s to come! You love to laugh and you are very much a daddy’s girl. You love music and love to hear daddy play his guitar and sing to you! You are a very talkative little girl, you jabber and have started this growling sound! You love to squeal and see how loud you can make your voice! You are a very strong little girl and you definitely keep us on our toes!

Words cannot explain how humbled I am daily that God choose me to be your mom! You are a true gift of grace and I am grateful to God for you! I pray that Christ will quickly save you and use you for His glory. I hope that you see that your dad and I love you and give you the best that we have to offer, but more than that I want you to know that Christ is so much better than us! I pray that you will learn to make much of Him and live each day for Him and His glory!

We love you and only look forward to more milestones and happy times with you! We love you our Emersyn Grace! Happy 6 Months!

My First Snow...

It snowed when we were in North Carolina, we got about 8 inches! I got all dressed up and went out to play with Cole and Eden... I lasted about 5 minutes (maybe) and then come inside, I was not a big fan!

But I did look cute in all my snow gear!

Emmy's First Christmas!

I had a wonderful first Christmas! I love all my family and had a great time spending time with everyone! I am sure next year will be a lot of fun as well since I might get the whole "Christmas" thing a little more!
