My husband... Jeffrey Thomas Capps...

Friday was Jeff's 24th birthday! I thought that for this special day, I would post pictures of Jeff over the years. Jeff is a wonderful guy who is always making people smile. He is always on the go, and always thinking of the next thing that he is going to do. He loves the Apple Store, cool clothes, concerts of any kind, and shoes! His passion is to work in a church or travel leading worship for students, and seeing Christ move in them. He loves to travel, if it was up to him we would rent a bus and be on the road all the time, seeing new places. He loves music, and all that goes along with that, he loves his job and the people that he has been able to meet through the studio. Jeff is a wonderful husband, who is always loving and helps so much when our schedule can be so crazy. He loves his family, friends and random people he meets ( we all know that Jeff is no stranger to anyone) He loves his God, he is passionate for Christ and this is evident in everything that he does. He lives for Him daily and is always striving to be closer to Him. Jeff is one of a kind and I do not know where I would be today without His love! Happy Birthday!

On the Road Again...

Jeff has been traveling a lot. He has spent the past weekends in Georgia, Alabama, and this weekend we will be gonig to Frisco, TX not to far from the house so I am going with him. He has been traveling alot with Dr. Reid and the band from NC, he loves it. In the next few weeks he will be going to Nashville, and then a camp in Dallas, please pray that he will have strength during the weekends, and that students will see Christ through the worship and the band. Here are a few pictures from their past shows.

Our lives have been super busy and crazy the past few months and we have neglected or blog! We are so sorry, things have been non-stop here between work, travels, and weekend events! Since the last blog I have started my inernship at Cook Children's Medical Center! I started on the 21st, and I am about to finish my first rotation which is on the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. It has been a wonderful 5 weeks, I have learned so much and met some great children. My next rotation will be in the pediatric ICU, and then I will move to the Hemotology and Oncology Clinic. I will be done on May 9th, and the plan was to take the certification test on May 22nd in San Diego, but we are not sure if that is going to happen now. I have to apply to take the certification test and I need to have 480 hours by March 31st, and as of right now I will have 450, unless I can get 30 more hours in, I will not be able to take the test until November. Its not the worst thing that could happen, I can get a job without certification, it just makes me more marketable if I had it. The November test would be better, it will be offered in Atlanta, GA which would make traveling there easier for Jeff and I. Other than this obstacle, things have been wonderful with the internship, I am loving it, and God has only solidified that this is where I am to work.
