5 Months

What I am doing at 5 months!

* Scooting across the floor on my belly and rolling all over the place.

* I am now sleeping on my stomach and love to roll around at talk for a while before I go to sleep.

* I am eating rice cereal and oatmeal in the morning and at night!

* I am a very talkative baby

* I love to smile at other people and seem to be a pretty happy baby ( most of the time)

* I am working on sitting up on my own, I love to stand and will not sit for very long, mom keeps saying I might be the first baby who can walk and crawl but not sit up on my own...

* I love to play in my jumper, excersaucer of just roll around on the floor.

* I love to laugh!

Thanksgiving is over... time to break out the Christmas pajamas!

My First Thanksgiving!

I had a great First Thanksgiving! We were all supposed to go run the Turkey Trot in downtown Dallas but it froze the night before and it was pretty rainy on Thanksgiving, so dad stayed home with me while mom went to run. I hate that I missed out but I am looking forward to doing it next year! Later that afternoon we had a relaxing day at the house and everyone came over to eat!

Ouch!

The past few days have been a little tough, I am starting to teeth, although teeth are still a few months away, I am starting to deal with my gums hurting. My star teether helps a lot though, I love it and will chew on it all day!

New Stroller

I got a new stroller the other day. Mom said we are going to use it when we go to the airport. I am getting a little to heavy for mom to carrying me a sling and I am not a big fan of the wrap anymore, so we are practicing riding in this. I seem to like it and I think it will make the airport a little more fun!

Mommies little cuddle bug... this very rarely happens so mom wanted to make sure she enjoyed the time!

Rice Cereal!

A month ago I started eating some rice cereal for dinner. It took me a while to get the hang of it and to start enjoying it, but I now love it and also have started to enjoy oatmeal! I have another month of cereals before I get to start some other types of food! I think I am looking forward to it!

Sweet Laughing!

The past few nights I love getting ready for bed and often spend the whole time laughing! Something about right before I go to bed makes me laugh so much... Mom and dad love it!

Little Diva!

Swing!

We ate lunch the other day with my friends Evan, Jude and their new baby brother Beau Bleecker. While we were waiting on them we I got to swing outside their house! I think this is something that I am really going to like to do!

Practicing!

We are going to be walking/running in the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning and mom and I have been practicing walking in my jogger. I am not big enough and able to sit up a little better on my own. I still have to have some support on the side, but I really enjoy facing forward and seeing where I am going!

Skyping!

We skype with Mimi and Pop at least once a week, I was very talkative the other day and I am starting to figure the whole thing out!

I am now a tummy sleeper and I am loving it! Here is how I feel asleep the other day during my nap...

On the move..

I am on the move... it is not technically a crawl, more like an army crawl, and I am most motivated if you put the phone in front of me! I love the phone... all I keep hearing mom say is that she is not ready for this!

Things I am doing at 4 Months...

* I have discovered my voice, I love to squeal and talk

* I love going on walks in the jogger, as long as the sun stays out of my face.

* I love mom and dads phone, if its near me I am always reaching for it.

* I started eating rice cereal, it has taken a few nights but I am starting to get used to it.

* I love to stand up and will hardly sit in anyones lap.

* I will arch my back and try to get out of anything... swing, bouncer, bumbo... mom is having a hard time finding a place to sit me.

* I am chewing on anything you put in my hands.

* I love to grab at people faces, mom loves this... we are practicing giving kisses.

4 months has gone by quick... mom and dad are looking forward to the holidays and a lot of first for me!

I love to sit with Dad while he is working on his computer! I am sure that one day I will love to play on the computer too!

3 Months!

I celebrated my 3 month birthday last weekend! I have been growing and changing so much! I did not go to the Dr. this month so I am unsure how much I weight, but mom and dad think I might be around 13 lbs! Here are a few things that I am doing now!

* I know roll over from back to tummy, and some times tummy to back!

* I am enjoying tummy time more and more.

* I want to chew on anything and everything!

* I have started to laugh, but mom and dad are unsure what exactly I think is so funny! I laugh at random times and mom and dad can't seem to find out what makes me do it!

* I still LOVE music and love to be sung to!

* I am sleeping through the night!

* I love to babble, and I am starting to figure out how to make my voice sound louder!

* I love to "blow bubbles"... also known as spitting on all my clothes! This makes for a few outfit changes throughout the day!

Mom and dad are enjoying watching me change more and more each day, they hate that I am getting so big so quick, but are having such a fun time watching me learn each day!

My new toy!

I have wanting to stand more and more these days so mom and dad got me this fun toy! I love to play in my excersaucer... I am still a little too short for it, but we have it stuffed with blankets everywhere to make it more comfortable!

BOOMER SOONER!

A few weeks ago I watched my first OU vs Texas game! I am so happy that they won! I have a feeling I will be watching many more in my lifetime!
